Surprise Others With Gratitude

gratitude and giving

Have you ever gotten up to the window of a drive-thru and the teller says that the person in front of you has taken care of your bill?! What an amazing feeling that is! I have been fortunate enough to have had this happen to me twice. I was so grateful!

I try to use those opportunities to show gratitude and “pay it forward.” Even my fourteen year old daughter has asked me on several occasions if we can please pay the bill for the people behind us? It is great at her age that she loves how that makes her feel. I encourage you to do that at least once with your kids.

One of the best ways to practice having a grateful heart and showing gratitude is to cut out any negativity in your life. In fact to be completely honest, I really reject negativity. There is always a positive you can find in any problem you may be experiencing. If you are listening to a friend, family member, co-worker, or client, you can also try to find a positive and share that outlook with them. It adds real value to your relationship. You can attract positive things in your life when you focus on cutting the negativity out.

I try to express gratitude to others constantly. I’d encourage you to start literally counting your blessings. Thank the people around you for all the amazing things you’ve received, and always show your appreciation. Think of creative ways to surprise them and make their day. It makes a difference in your relationships and success. You become part of a cycle of generosity and abundance.

As I close, I would like to thank my family, friends, co-workerss and clients for their appreciation and let you know how grateful I am for your continued support, personally and professionally. The success I have had with my business is because of you!
